Great submission! It was really original and seemed to demonstrate your quality of work, I knew you had it in you ;) The idea is original and the animation was awesome. Music went extremely well with the whole animation and the voice acting was great! Overall very neat work, keep at it.

I know it's just a "demo", but even if it weren't, this game isn't ery entertaining or good at all.

For starters tthe engine you used is terrible. I have to wait a few seconds for my caharacter to move, and when I jump, I have to press the arrow keys again to move in the direction I want. You should make it smoother and more stable because your hittests were all crappy. Try creating one yourself and not copying it from some crappy enginee someone posted on the BBS.

The graphics obviouslyneed major work. Try adding exotic backgrounds, and shit. The character looked fine, though :)

Finally, I recommend adding a story, because a platform plainly sucks without a goal or story in it.

"Not very good"

This could have used alot of work. I'm not very fond of these "My Newgorunds" flashes that seem to be becoming some kind of annoying fad. Anyways, I'll leave that besides.

This wasn't really that good. The video quality is very poor, but I can't blame you on that, just wanted to point it out. Also, this is almost exactly the same as the original "My NG". You pretty much said the same things as he did, like submitting flash, how you spend your time, and even when you said "I love NG SOOO much". You should have spent more time thinking on more original things to say...even in an unoriginal video. Finally, the animation is very sloppy and most of the time, there isn't any.

If you were going to make a "My NG" video, you should have at least put some thought or effort into it, and it would have been decent.

"Well Done, but missing some value"

This is a very well done game. The graphics are excellent and the coding seems to be very stable. It must have taken a while to finish because I can see how complex it is. The first stage was the one I enjoyed the least. it seemed somewhat repetitive to just be hitting some marching soldiers for a few minutes. The other levels were excellent. What I like most about it is the music. Very good choice for music, especially when you're riding the horse. The music made the game feel more "Christmassy" and more like that Nutcracker story. Excellent choice. The final boss battle was pretty amusing as well.

The only complaint I would have is that it didn't have much replay value. It was very fun, but I would only play it once or twice. Maybe putting some more combo moves or different enemies on the first stage would have helped this.

"Excellent tribute and hilarious ending!"

I really liked this flash. The story is ery interesting and creative from a "Doom" perspective. The animation is also very good. I can tell you spent a lot of time making the desired effects and making custom sprites. Another great thing about it is the voicing. Your voice actor was great. Finally, the Cyberdemon fight was intense and exciting.

Probably the dumbest thing about this flash is the ending. It's dumb but in a REALLY funny way. When I saw it I was literally laughing my ass off. I was thinking "wtf" but it's sooo funny. I don't know if you wanted that when you were making it, but that has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

A really good animation and unexpected and hilarious ending make this a great Doom Tribute.

"Nice little Mario-DBZ movie"

This is a nice little movie for any mario or DBZ fan. I liked the sounds and especially the efects. I can tell you put an extra effort on them. The sprites were really cool especially Luigi as a SS3.

Since this is a preview, I cannot expect too much out of it, but it did leave me wanting for more. Keep at it with this series. You'll get better as you go on and you'll make a fun series for any fan to enjoy!

"Fun and cute game"

I liked this game alot :D The drawings were the best thing. The little hammers and the sound they made when I hammered them was very funny and cute :3 Those lil hammers.... haha Anyways good job on this game. Though it was a bit hard, it was still fun. You should have been lives instead of an instant game over when one loses. That way, time wouldn't be wasted seeing the end animation, the menu, and doing all the clicking. I loved the style. Very nice visuals. I hope you are proud of this quality game you made!

On an unrelated note, I was going to use the NESkimo Zelda song for my submission, but I was thinking about it yesterday and decided to discard it :P Good thing I did that because you used the same one haha.

"Excellent and incredibly addicting game!"

This has to be one of my favorite games on NG. It's fun, simple, and addicting. The best was the use of such an awesome fad as angryfaic. The gameplay is very fun and I must say I haven't seem a game quite like this one. Scripting this must have been pretty hard and I can tell you worked very hard on this. I got my Angryfaic T-Shirt today so that made me add this to my favs and review it :)

I simply loved the style of it and the music just gave it the last push. Excellent choice of music and great graphics. This is one of the few games here that don't get boring that fast and that is the hardest thing to achieve when making a game.

Finally, congratz on winning those $500...you deserve every penny *wink* :)...or >:(

"Pretty fun!"

I enjoyed playing this game for a while! :D I liked the gameplay and how I had to whack those little things >:) The programming is superb. It wasn't glitchy the whole time I played. The graphics were OK, although it could have used a bit more variety. The animation, though not that much, was excellent. You pulled off greatly the concept of the game so it would be as fun as it could get. My only recommendation would have been to put more details to the background and adding a bit more interactivity to it, though the different weapons were a great idea and was executed fantastically. Overall great job!

"Amusing and worth watching"

I have to say this is one of the best abstract flashes I've seen here. Your style is awesome and entertaining, as well as your ideas and how you merged them to create this. What stood out the most for me is how it wasn't boring at all. I could watch the whole thing many times without getting bored and that's why I'm impressed because this is very difficult to achieve. Also, the music gave more life to the entire movie. Very well chosen and fitting for the movie. This is one of the few submissions that I extremely like both music and animtion. This deserves more attention to it.

Anyways excellent flash and I hope people see it and understand it.
